I'm not saying there aren't kernels of truth or worthwhile dimensions to it; and hey, if you think there's something much more revealing, power to you. Also respect your *genuine* commitment to free speech. I just think a lot of this angle/narrative is overhyped and misguided.
Three years ago it was overhyped because it was only on campus. Now it's overhyped because it's in every newsroom in the country and every multinational corporation is blasting it from the rooftops. What do you want, ratification of a constitutional amendment?

3 yrs ago we didn’t have a McCarthyism going on. The real & actual threat. This was pushed not by leftist but by many of the same people who signed that Harpers letter. Those news rooms, Companies & social media cites are relying on shady Atlantic Council backed orgs.
