The police don't need to be directly involved to have a hand in the violence. Just by being the arm of the system that creates the violence they are involved, and are responsible for twisting the narrative that the false concept of "criminals" create the violence.
Call me old-fashioned, I'm more immediately concerned about who pulled the trigger and why.
