      We'll see. I think there's enough out there, with what is (and isn't) in the 'callout' piece, for honest people to make up their minds without inside information from Edwin. A market for such nostalgic throwbacks as discretion and drama minimization may ultimately emerge.

      That's the thing. He didn't actually describe being fucked over. Being fucked over is when someone breaches a prior agreement. No alleged prior agreement, no ratfuck. As far as we know he had totally unreasonable expectations about the degree of control he would have.

      Getting locked out of a publication you cofounded with no prior agreement is pretty much being fucked over. I’ve had to break with co-editors in the past and I never would’ve handled it like this and then pretended I did nothing wrong.

      "Co-founding" is not how this works. Get your name on the legal documents or part ownership. Failing that fill out a W-2. Nobody has a claim to the idea of making a magazine that reflects their own politics.

          I don't know why he didn't pursue a formal agreement for ownership or employment. I do know that he has not alleged that there ever was any. That's a very low bar.
