You've got a publication that was seeing some success publishing articles from both a materialist left perspective and this nascent "post-left" perspective. The "post-leftists" are now cheering on the purge of the materialist guy. This is not only fucked up, it's stupid as hell.

As of two weeks ago there were no fundamental disagreements between the class left and the "post-left" because the post-left was barely a thing and all the post-leftists were just regular class leftists. Now suddenly these are two incompatible ideologies. What is going on here?

It seems there is a disagreement as to whether the working class and the left will ever meet. I tend to side with those who say no, they will not. This doesn't mean abandoning the working class, it means abandoning a label defined by the class enemy.

That would be an interesting debate to have in the pages of a publication like The Bellows, but it seems a bit strange for people to be insisting that it's perfectly normal for a magazine that Kickstarted itself as representing the class left to suddenly switch ideologies
