The message was in fact anachronistic by the time the 2016 campaign started. That's why Chapo exists in the first place, they were determined to piss into the wind for the '16 platform contra the forces that had allowed him to be a viable candidate in the first place.

Incidentally this still leaves the Chapos themselves as heroes, and proves their early enemies right and their fans wrong. Nobody else dared go where they went when they started. There are 2015 era radlibs who are *still* hiding from them on Mastodon.

Ironically, the Chapos finally got what they initially wanted and set up for: Crushing DNC victory followed by radlibs going nuts (they imagined this happening with a Clinton victory, though) Let's see how they fare

The fun thing about the successor ideology just being another incarnation of capital is that it keeps the exponential growth and crisis tendencies. It blows up, and then it blows up. Doesn't mean it has to die, but the fireworks won't subside until it does.
