It's such a nutty show in hindsight that it becomes its own masterpiece.
It was like that when it was airing too. I get it, ticking time bomb is a fascist trope, Scalia was a fan... There's no way a viewer could come away with the impression that this is a realistic portrayal of the life of an intel operative. It's cartoonish.
