      Tracey's a good dude but if this foreign policy ideology held the US would have invaded Venezuela, Iran and North Korea by now during one of the annual World War 3 freakouts. Somehow it's always tantalizingly close...

      The message, but not the premise. Constructing the US as a crusader state fueled by the blood of innocents works to discredit any attempt it might make at taking care of its own citizens.
