      Wanting to abolish childhood and casting doubt on the possibility of consent for 18+ yr olds seem contradictory, but are two sides of the same coin. The point in both cases is to eliminate any private sphere relatively autonomous from politics. But tech is already doing this./1

      We call them "teens" and people basically hate them. The institutions for them are institutions: mental hospitals, juvenile detention, and private reform schools that at one point operated with virtual legal immunity.
