      How hard is it to admit that he didn't read the paper (if he did, I'm going to really wonder if he can understand what he's reading because the description of the paper he offers bears no resemblance to the actual paper) and apologize? Why double down on such a terrible argument?

      Motte, meet bailey. When someone agrees with Robinson and wants to cite him, he's pre-eminent, a maverick Harvard Law grad. When they accuse him of shoddy journalism and base cowardice, he's a marginal figure in a marginal movement.
