The tl;dr of most shit that'll go down in the semi-near future is boomers are getting old and are on their way out but want to cling to wealth and power for dear life, millennials are getting a bit long in the tooth themselves and have no wealth or power and don't want to wait

They both have their auxiliaries (boomers have Gen X and millennials have Gen Z) waiting to fill the void they'll leave behind Until evictions are done and the generational cleansing finished, the Turf War of the Boomer Social Contract Betrayal will continue to rage mercilessly

Ofc there's some fuzziness at the edges with some millennials/zoomers batting for boomers/Xers and vice versa, but those are the general battle lines Ideology is used for friend/foe distinction at those fuzzy boundaries and as general window dressing for the underlying dynamic

That's why so many vague words like "reform" and "dismantle" etc are used What they really mean is move those old fucks out, move our people in Where they're too entrenched, burn that shit to the ground and build our own version with us in charge on top of the smouldering ruins

This is why "you call yourself a revolutionary yet all corporations etc support you" argument is so pointless It's not a revolution, it's an inter-generational land grab The elites are just seeing the writing on the wall and giving the stronger side the green light to go ahead
