      One of the reasons media people hate me so much is that I'm not dependent on their largesse, thanks to you kind and wonderful people. These pathetic media losers DO NOT speak for everyone and they need to be countered rationally and consistently -- or else we're all fucked

      I also don't aspire to be their friends in real life. A lot of the herd behavior you see them exhibit is driven by their treatment of journalism as one big mutually-reinforcing social clique. It's just a continuation of High School for them
