The Target thing is a strawman. Nobody serious is worried about Target's ability to cover the loss or the damage to their store. They're worried about what "dismantling the system" means when workers have no power and no representative.

It means the "Targets" of the world will extract more wealth directly and indirectly from every community. Because the system already accounts for an acceptable amount of civil disorder. Like looting retail and burning up cop cars.
