these people always love phonebanking. I haven't done it or been subject to it – is it fair to say that phonebanking is like telemarketing, ie. a nuisance to people and largely ineffective?
The Bernie theory, at least the one they told their volunteers, involved contacting voters to improve their perception of Sanders, but there was a huge emphasis on tracking everything. When I did it on a local campaign as a teenager it was all about taking peoples' temps.

interesting interesting. yeah i imagine if i got phoned up and told "hey, i'm here to talk to you about ______", the likelihood of me liking that person more would be close to zero. Might even have the opposite effect, like Doctors Without Borders when they come to your house.
