My problem with the forth international(who are actual “trots”) is that they regularly attack unions. Yes union officials are corrupt and so on, but should workers throw out the baby with the bath water during a strike of contract negotiation?
I'm not a trotskyite myself but the initiative is in line with Marx, who saw trade unions as positive developments which couldn't change relations of production without the coordination of a party.
