      When you realize we're just rediscovering tradition and by the end of this process society will more or less resemble the one we had left behind as too primitive Just sucks if you're stuck in the in-between phase

      I didn't mean to be indirect, it's such a broad and murky topic that there's room for disagreement. I figured it was clear enough I have faith in humans to preserve what we've built more or less intact.

      I gained a bit of appreciation for the preppers this year. Wuhan shows that even if you tend towards optimism, you can't do so uncritically.
