I will say this about Latinx - it was actually less infuriating than Latin@. Just imagine Gillibrand saying “Latin-at” while apologizing for being an “aw-fluh.” Now you know how serial killers feel.
It would have worked if everyone had agreed to pronounce it to rhyme with quinoa. Well, no, it wouldn't have, but it'd be better than latinx.
