FWIW I'm a product of public school and I'm also not terribly keen on homeschooling.
I did high school at a magnet program as well, ha. Twitter being, of course, the social media network for former gifted children. I just tend to find homeschool kids end up eccentric. I think the only option is investment and tax restructuring

It might be different in the internet age, but I associate homeschooling with idiosyncratic beliefs like creationism that are difficult to shake. No reason liberal homeschool parents couldn't set up an alternate reality of antivax and Russiagate crap.
