All the outraged subtweets about my above tweet are annoying & odd. I asked this ? not to mock anyone but bc I genuinely feel helpless and powerless as a leftist right now. It feels like the right is only getting stronger while the left gets weaker and the future is bleak.

Consider dialing back the tribal loyalty to figure out what you actually care about and believe, and why.

For example if your 'leftism' holds that labor in your country is overpriced, you will have a bad time in elections for the foreseeable future.

I mention this because it's the fundamental point of agreement between American liberals and leftists (ie, broadly, "the left") that US labor is spoiled and requires discipline. You can stage a coup with that but it won't win an election, much less a revolution.
