I'm not seeing a diplomatic issue here at all. Diplomacy between the US and China is going gangbusters. We haven't even invoked the DPA, which would save American lives at the expense of CCP dominance of our market. You think China cares if Biden talks shit during a campaign?

China does not care what American politicians say to get elected any more than establishment GOP cares what Trump says to get elected. This is a human issue, with tens of thousands of Americans dead for no good reason. Why is it racist to ask what every party could have done?

If your central point is that Biden is placing blame outward instead of looking inward? If so, I agree.

That's quite the opposite of what I'm saying. Every world leader should welcome a full reckoning. The fact that that's impossible does not make it undesirable.

We agree that it would be impossible to do and I think in the current state of things it would have the undesirable consequences. One being a result in more jittery leaders clinging to their power who are less likely to cooperate with one another.

The US and the CCP: two great tastes that go great together.

I don't think you are wrong, I'm just thinking about how one might achieve an ideal outcome operating within the confines of the reality with which we are presented. Taking fear out of the equation goes a way towards getting there.

It has often been said that politics is seeking the "ideal outcome operating within the confines of the reality with which we are presented" and not imagining a different reality in which other more desirable outcomes could occur.

In fact it's racist to even think about what those more desirable outcomes might be, because it could hurt the gang of mobsters who identify themselves with the Chinese people.

Sub out settlements in the west bank. No candidate is actually going to limit them. That doesn't prevent me from saying they're bad and the US should prevent them from being built, or that the US could stand to collaborate a little less with Israel.
