We have a problem to solve and I'm looking at this as a problem with diplomatic process and not that someone willfully acted with menace towards a population. When you look to solve those problems of diplomacy if you go at trying to place blame you will get absolutely nowhere.
It has often been said that politics is seeking the "ideal outcome operating within the confines of the reality with which we are presented" and not imagining a different reality in which other more desirable outcomes could occur.

In fact it's racist to even think about what those more desirable outcomes might be, because it could hurt the gang of mobsters who identify themselves with the Chinese people.

Sub out settlements in the west bank. No candidate is actually going to limit them. That doesn't prevent me from saying they're bad and the US should prevent them from being built, or that the US could stand to collaborate a little less with Israel.
