So far nicotine, ephedra and quinine have been shown to be antiviral. Now, if can we just get one study showing recreational alcohol consumption is antiviral.

this reminds me that literally drinking a shitload of alcohol is a legitimate emergency treatment for methanol poisoning because apparently the body preferentially metabolizes ethyl alcohol
