I'm old enough to remember when libs got angry at Trump for the European travel ban. This was back before the piece in the New York Times about how the virus in New York is from the strain in Europe. More than anything I wish people would just pick a lane.
Yeah the "US covid came from Europe" thing is a desperate attempt to salvage the early lib media narrative saying (without quite saying) that it's racist to be afraid of the virus. PSL marched hundreds of people through SF Chinatown to combat virus racism in early March.

It is racist to bring up the PRC or the sanitary conditions of wer markets or the number of people who died in China, are dying, or may have been covered up. All criticism of the PRC is racist.
