Yes, if you believe that the CDC is "just learning" the various basic things about the virus that caused it to shut down Wuhan.https://twitter.com/chrislhayes/status/1248394288032931840 …

I can't tell you if things are going better or worse than I'd expect because I don't know what the path out of lockdown is. The virus is roughly the same: calamitous if not controlled, but controllable.

What I CAN tell you is that the headline on this disease in big bold letters in late January was "SUBSTANTIAL SPREAD THROUGH ASYMPTOMATIC CARRIERS." That the CDC pretends to have recently noticed this is an insult to the intelligence of the American people, except journalists.

Journos have made few inquiries into why the CDC is making false statements to the public, and why they have done so to disastrous effect for all of 2020. That work has been left to a handful of MAGA republicans and silicon valley blowjob artists. Wouldn't have been my call.

What are they saying? CDC is ultimately subordinated to Trump, so I don't think these guys have any real bones to pick with them.

The CDC straight up IS Trump. That's the problem. Doctors do not think the CDC is Trump.

Yeah, I was just puzzled who you had in mind when you referred to Magatards and the silicon boobs? They are Trump too, I haven't heard anything of interest from them.
