But I don't think there's been a single better educational resource throughout the crisis. He was issuing dire warnings because they were called for. There was more than enough video of him reading over figures to know that he's (what's the antonym for alarmist? British? idk)
The one questionable thing I did see him jump on was the "L and S strain" paper about a month ago that has now been basically dropped, but that stuff is fairly in the weeds. He's definitely a steady hand and compared favorably to some of the Twitter commentary that was big.
