I bought a three pack of bandanas and that's the example I want to set for people, although I now have a nice handmade cloth mask from a family friend and a 3M N95 from dad's garage.
This has to do with the turnaround on the mask advice, I think. It has been obvious since January that it spreads on breath, but if they act like it's new info they can excuse the advice on not wearing masks without facing pressure to build out domestic production.
