Has there been a single confirmed case of someone catching covid from food or a package?

I think we would have, docs pinned down unexpected routes of transmission like conjunctiva early. If a specific food service location was spreading it the Koreans would have figured it out if not the Chinese.

That's only possible if most of the food from a particular source is contaminated. But that's probably not how it works. If only 1 out of 10 sandwiches has corona, you're not going to be able to trace the cases back to sandwich shop.

Don't see why not. SK is contact tracing every case, that would include where they ate. If a shop caused >4 recorded infections among people who otherwise took precautions they'd be able to make the connection. Instead they're finding it in churches and hospitals.
