3d printing sucks ass tbh. i could see its use in moderately complex, proprietary parts of which few are needed, e.g. like a handful of 3d printed parts = refurbished/repaired respirator or sth, but for masks lol no
Good news, we've also barely stepped up PPE production in traditional factories. And we're suing people who print essential vent parts. Best of both worlds here

The Italians weren't sued, it turned out to be fake news. The company just refused to give them the specs so they had to reverse engineer, which is bad enough. Abolish intellectual property!
