@potus and members of his administration that actually saw evidence that it would be, were saying the same thing. The difference is they had evidence, vs educated guesses, and STILL hid it.
There was nothing to hide. The WHO gave every indication that this was a severe and infectious disease that required a swift and decisive response globally. It just got sucked into the politics turbine because pandemic controls are expensive and we don't want to onshore.
