It’d be interesting to find out if the obnoxious scolds at the DSA convention who kept interrupting were specifically those who had no concrete tasks within the organizational structure or were otherwise those who lack the capacity to participate in a meaningful way

Well, for instance, the people on stage had a clear role, they were leading the meeting. Others organized and set up the event itself, assume someone was taking the minutes, etc. Guessing it’s the superfluous attendees who’d turn to scolding and canceling
