      It's insane that he understands the scale of the destruction and the fact that other countries have used tools that are at the US' immediate disposal to use and have contained it but it's okay that we're just not going to do that.

      You disagree with that assessment of the epidemiological timeline + the actually existing health services infrastructure and all of the necessary auxiliary industries attached to daily life in our advanced capitalist state?

      Yes. The US and the UK can contain this. Containment does not take place in health care systems. It takes place in the social policy arena, including but not limited to public health policy.

          He's saying there that even if people could band together to contain this on their own it would be worse than using the disease to kill millions and maim millions more.
