All you had to do was listen to the description of the disease. All you had to do was look at what China was willing to do to *just to slow it down*.

But you don't want to think about that so you didn't. You don't want to think that maybe they will simply ignore it until it comes for them. And after Iran, it was clear it was coming for all of them.
