      Bloomberg gave an address on the topic before Super Tuesday. This virus has been an issue of international concern since the WHO identified it in mid January, which is also when it began circulating in Washington State.

          And the WHO was late to this party too. Simply the early description of the disease - SARS transmissible by asymptomatic carriers - was enough to send every epidemiologist on earth into a frenzy.

          There are always voices of moderation and reason in the midst of emerging threats. We've seen it with previous outbreaks of new diseases. This time, none of those voices of moderation was an expert on the topic. Not one.
