And it shouldn't be. His winning in November depends on convincing a lot of ppl that he's a normal if old-fashioned Democrat, returning the party to its FDR days, not some unknown entity from the future.

He's the only "FDR Democrat" in the party. Every other major DNC figure is Third Way, including and especially Warren. If he can't fundamentally reorient the party there is no reason to throw hard earned money or valuable time at him.

What he can do between now and November is win a nomination and election. Changing the party takes a lot longer, and becomes 100x harder if he loses.

He can't win an election as Hillary. The DNC has been losing ground for decades and is about to gerrymander itself entirely out of power this way, let alone the example of Corbyn trying to ride those two horses at the same time. It's break or bust.
