It's not coming from China, it is spreading the community. It is known to be spreading in the northwest US. By congregating in Chinatown you could introduce an outside infection.

I can't imagine. There are a few statements from public officials which needlessly call out the virus as specifically Chinese, and a section on the SARS wiki for anti Asian racism. Makes no sense at all. They just need a way to look superior.
