Corbyn/Bernie comparisons fall apart when you consider that the UK is a parliamentary system and the US is a presidential system. Many of Corbyn's problems stemmed from having to rely on Labour MPs to retain power. Bernie cannot be undermined in such a manner by Dems

Bernie could face opposition from elected Democrats once he becomes the nominee and/or president, but they can't literally oust him from power. Corbyn had to ward off internal party coup attempts and constant threats to depose him. The differences in the systems are critical

If there's a parallel to be drawn, it's the incoherent Labour position on Brexit, which called for overturning the referendum result. This is analogous to Russia/impeachment, but there are limits to the analogy because Brexit was a far more salient issue than Russia/impeachment
