The Bernie coalition is deceptively fragile - or at least Sanders himself thinks so. He's made compromises on immigration, guns and media sideshows like Russiagate and impeachment that he never would have before.

The aggravating thing is that the most effective coalition in terms of votes would ignore these leftish pet projects altogether and acknowledge the real strengths of Trump's overall strategy.
