Anyways let's be real. While it would be profoundly bad if he won it also seems extremely unlikely that he can swing not only the primary but winning the general election over Trump
He's not planning to win the nomination fairly, he's hoping to buy the result of a contested convention. The general does look pretty hopeless for him now, eight or so months out. Things can change though. There's no credible counterforce *except* Trump if he takes the nom.

Well sure who knows what will happen in eight months. But taking probability into account it's pretty low on my list of worries

He is currently by far the most likely result of a contested convention, which is arguably the most likely outcome of the current race. It’s way too close for my comfort.
