The working class in the US is immediately "multiracial." The idea that the working class, in the interest of a group of its members, willfully undercut its own claim to universality is a vicious slander worthy of MovieBob.
She is repeating a lie that "working class" came to mean "white." This is perhaps *the* crucial point of unity between DNC liberals, anarchists, and Maoists, all of whom impose this meaning themselves in order to discredit the concept of class.
