Seriously considering setting up a Mastodon (or similar, ActivityPub-enabled thing) instance at this point because of this. I mean, I probably couldn't afford to run it at the scale I'd want to run it right now, but if I start getting paid some time soon, then yeah.
I really hate to make another account but if people start migrating I'm happy to get the hell off Twitter.
