      These two things are *not quite* in contradiction with one another, since the proposed deportation freeze is temporary. But a substantial portion of Bernie's base - many of them Chapo listeners - believe that borders are morally unjust. They need to be told it's not them, it's us

      So, no substantive objection to the idea that it's inconsistent to call for criminals to be thrown into concentration camps, no objection to the idea that immigration lowers wages, just every assurance that workers can't read and don't have the internet.
