Quick question for any other themed spaces/theme park nerds out there: Are there any good books about theme parks that incorperate like, idk, theory? I'm reading Gone Dollywood and have started Spectacular Nature and i'm looking for more books in that vein.
Not directly but Fredric Jameson's work on architecture, eg in Postmodernism from 1991, is probably relevant. Difficult stuff though.

Yeah. He has kind of a narrative walkthrough of a megamall in California that might as well be about the Mall of America, which is essentially a large enclosed theme park
