I don’t know about “wheelchair grifters” but at least like half of “service animals” are total bullshit and anyone who’s ever worked in the service industry knows this.

They tell you this at training for every customer-facing position. "Don't ask about the dogs, we allow service animals and we're not allowed to ask what they're for so if one creates a problem just get a manager"
Dovetails nicely into the newfangled idea that dogs cannot be effectively purpose-bred for violence and dogfighters inadvertently created a bunch of little rescue angels, which is why we should let stupid women buy them in hopes of using them as a weapon
