I thought she was fine until about the time her run started. She got a lot of credit for "whistleblowing" about household debt before the housing bubble popped, even though her work was largely irrelevant to the underlying problems.
Seems like that got her cred with a certain crew that she cleverly used to play the role of someone who's always on the cusp of "getting it" and seeing through the bullshit, when she made her money in asbestos.
