      It's interesting that the IQ obsession took off among Jewish academics with the advent of school integration and affirmative action admissions in the Ivies. I wonder what Hernstein's motivations were. It's something worth investigating.

      SAT is g correlated. Most admissions exams are. This is why prestigious schools are getting rid of them now - asians are crushing the exams and crowding out Hernstein's kids.

      I'd have been fucked if I couldn't get admitted based on test scores. GPA is a much squishier metric with all kinds of gaming and perverse incentives, and the best extracurriculars are literally just purchases by parents
