I'm somewhere in between. Imo he needs to pander to some degree until the primary is over; it was good he took the approach he did on impeachment rather than the Tulsi approach. OTOH, he's said some things about immigration that are going to be very difficult to walk back.
Immigration and trade will win Republicans the presidency until such time as they themselves lose credibility on it (never, they're the party of racism, thanks Dems)

It's especially pathetic considering the GOP is actually more supportive of free trade that Dems. But the liberal media wanted to rebrand us as "the party of free trade" and I think they've pretty much succeeded, despite this narrative being totally disconnected from reality.

Well, they've succeeded so well that they're pushing the party in this direction. Creating the new reality. We're still not there in the current moment though.
