I differ with the general current on here, I think he should do that pivot six months ago, or tomorrow. The convention is in what, July? If it's contested, that's how long the primary lasts. Not much time to pivot

Yep. Sanders started with nothing in '16 and ran against an heiress and almost won this way. Most Americans hate political correctness, which they correctly see as a form of austerity. Running against austerity but for PC damages credibility by contradiction.

I'm somewhere in between. Imo he needs to pander to some degree until the primary is over; it was good he took the approach he did on impeachment rather than the Tulsi approach. OTOH, he's said some things about immigration that are going to be very difficult to walk back.
