How do you gin up support for technical solutions? By getting people to take climate change seriously. And everyone flying everywhere IS PART OF THE PROBLEM

Most of these technical solutions are already popular - I know many conservatives who love the wind farm down the way because it has cheap electricity. M4A is also popular, but not implemented. It's the political structure.

The only way to do this on a mass scale is to abandon “climate change” as a framework and sell it to the public in terms of old-school anti-pollution environmentalism, which has always been more popular than castrophisizing social engineering “climate change” rhetoric.

I think we're not so far apart on our views here. Climate change is absolutely a pollution and environmental issue. I think the catastrophizing of it has been to set it apart. It is the most severe form of pollution - and indeed it was by accident at first! - but it is pollution.

An added bonus if you can work in the fact that many of the chemicals that corporations are pumping into our air and water are turning us trans.
