he might have his heart in the right place but he’s still working within capitalist framework and how he can’t see that as a problem ruins his message for me. how does $1K help if nothing else changes? and when it fails people will say “socialism” failed, and we’re further back.
I mainly want a properly worker-friendly candidate to start talking like he does about deaths of despair and the dissipation of meaning in American life. This "jail the pharma execs" stuff is a copout

I do agree with this to a pretty large extent - there needs to be more emphasis on alienation and the destruction of community structures in the USA by capital. "All that is solid melts into air" and the like
