The problem here is the tension between point one and point two. The needle is already swinging hard against pain management that was uncontroversial before Oxy. Weed could help as a less-risky option but let's be realistic about how much it can do for severe pain.

Uhhh, I have severe pain and weed helps a whole fucking lot. It should be available to everyone to try. And opioid treatment should still be given to those who need it. Pain management WASNT uncontroversial before Oxy. I dont think you understand why the opioid epidemic happened
