i think it's backwards and both communities attracted lonely and/or traumatized people in the first place, and people like this are very vulnerable to hurting each other

bit 3 is a fun one and i think it goes with the privilege-as-ladder thing where there's like a power ranking of marginalized identities with the least marginalized (idk, white women) at the top and the most marginalized (DC movie fans) at the bottom

anyway the "funny" bit is that anyone who's 'lower' on the socially-agreed-on ladder tends to just assume they're fine to say whatever about anyone above it which is how you end up with online queer kids* saying the most homophobic shit about gay men obliviously/

/cuz it doesn't even occur to them that they're actually capable of being homophobic since they're higher on the "privilege ladder" which is why it's fine to accidentally say that e.g. gayness is inherently pornographic and harmful to children or something

*i say 'queer kids' because these people are almost always under the age of 24. it's not hip to say this in the 'ok boomer' age but people really need to cool it with hot takes about sexuality until they leave the house and can legally rent a car

the problem with boomers isn't their age but their generational lead poisoning resulting in brain holes

It's that they haven't had their asses kicked enough

If anything they had their asses kicked way more due to growing up before zero tolerance policies and the movement against corporal punishment
